Meta Launches Oculus Quest 2 At Harrods
Dynamo LED Displays worked alongside another huge blue chip client when they provided the LED screens used in the windows of the world famous London department store Harrods during the launch of the brand new Oculus Quest 2 VR headset.
Meta, previously known as Facebook completed a name change during the installation which took place over three evenings while the display windows were covered in vinyl to hide from the view of curious passers by.
High resolution and High-Contrast LED Displays
With the prestigious high end venue and client we knew that only the very best quality would suffice and so we decided on our high resolution and high contrast p2mm LED displays that boast the latest black face LED’s and dark resin surface which create a true black image and also increases the overall contrast levels.
The Installation Process
The five windows were each dressed to showcase different terrains within the view of the Oculus VR headset with the screens set at different sizes. Each of the LED screens had the central part of the LED display brought forward by 0.5m to act as a kind of 3D view.
